This solution is aimed for organizations using Microsoft Active Directory ®.
Active Directory stores users, groups, computers,.. data and -if utilized- can
be used in data integration between various systems the organization might be
running. For example, if your organization runs Oracle ERP, Sap, some legacy
systems, and Active Directory you can use This solution to share use Acive
Directory data. Infact this solution's main idea is to retrieve data from Active
Directory based on a schedule and stores them in a data store (MS-SQL server
database). The solution comes with a library that enables easy data operations
with the data store and much more utilities for exporting data to MS-Excel and
exception handling and reporting and logging.
FastApps Active Directory Integrator can be configured using a configuration
table to set the schedule for retrieving data, domain, mail server to use in
email notifications, organization units pathes to retrieve data from, email
addresses to notify when performing data retrieval or when errors occure.
The exception handling library uses Windows Event Log to log errors that might
occure as well as sending email notifications containing full details of
exceptions and errors (including username, platform, browser, timestamp, the
webpage that the error occured at,...) to responsible persons defined in the
configuration table.
